Ida was born in Clayton Texas Jan. 20, 1913 to Henry Martin McLendon and Lula Annie Welch. She was the sister of Adele McLendon Class of 1927 and J.B McLendon class of 1927. After graduation in 1931 she moved to San Francisco and lived with her older brother Jess. She met my father Joseph Jauch during this time, but returned to Texas and had a candy concession at the Marshall bus station. My dad visited her several times and on April 17, 1938 they were married on the King Ranch. They lived in San Francisco until 1955 and then in Sunnyvale, Ca, until her death April 16, 2004 at the age of 91.
