1900 Census: Age 10, Living with parents FD and Minnie (20) along with four siblings, cousin Belle Guthrie (7) and widowed grandfather Wm McLanion in Timpson, Texas.

1910 Census: Age 20, Living with parents Fred (44) and Minnie (41) along with 6 siblings and widowed grandfather John McLamore (62) and widowed aunt Mary Tims (72) on Tenaha Road, Precinct 7, Shelby County, Texas.

1917, June 5: Age 28, Registered for the World War I Draft in Harrison County, Texas. Employed as a Bookkeeper at the Waterman Lumber Company, Blocker, Texas. Single. Claimed chronic appendicitis as exemption.

1918, September 4: Age 28, Inducted into the US Army in Marshall, Texas. Assigned to 165 Deport Brigade, Camp Travis, Texas until discharge.

1918, November 11: Age 29, Promoted to Corporal on armistice day.

1918, December 29: Age 29,Promoted to Sergeant.

1919, March 1: Age 29, Promoted to Battalion Sergeant Major.

1919, March 16; Age 29,Promoted to Regimental Sergeant Major.

1919, March 26: Age 29, Honorably discharged. Awarded the World War I Victory Medal and honorable discharge lapel pin.

1926, July 18: Age 36, Married Sadie Sinclair in Harrison County, Texas.

1940 Census: Age 50, Living with wife Sadie (39) in Shreveport, Louisiana.  

1942, April 27: Age: 52, Registered for WW II Draft from residence 423 Albany Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Employed by Trast Lumber Industries, Inc.

1958, January 7: Age 68, Passed at his residence 423 Albany Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana after a lengthy illness. Past Master of Waskom Lodge 1254 F & A M and was a member of the Scottish rite, American Legion and Broadmoor Christian Church. He was survived by wife Saidie, brother J. Frank Haden and two sisters, Miss Madian Haden and Mrs. George E. Kennedy.

1958, January 8: Services held at the Osborn Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Munyon, Pastor of the Broadmoor Christian Church officiating. Burial in the Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana.

1958, January 21: Application for Veteran Headstone made by wife Mrs. Sadie S. Haden, 423 Albany St., Shreveport, Louisiana.
