Joe Baker Tims was born in December 13, 1898 to parents Amos Charles Tims and Ellen Clemintine Baker.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1917.  The 1930 Census shows he was married to Lyness Tims living in Smackover, AK.  The couple had one child at the time.  Joe was working in the oilfield at the time.  The 1940 Census shows he aw still working and livng in the same area.  At that time there were two children in the family.  Joe was a pipeline superintendent.  Joe did at a young age of 52 in 1952 in Arkansas.
