We are not sure if and when Evevlyn graduated from Timpson High School however she did attend but records are incomplete for her last years in school.  She was born on November 13, 1901 to parents Robert and Beulah Blair.  She had at least one sister according to the 1910 Census by the name of Miriam who was 8 years older than Evelyn. 

After finishing school she married John Graham Powers, SR., and they had at at least one child.  Evelyn passed away March 12, 1991 at the age of 89.
