Grace Moses was born on November 21, 1895.  We are not sure of the date she graduated from Timpson High School but in 1917 she was a freshman at Baylor University according to their 1917 Yearbook.  Her parents were Joe and Ida Moses.  She had three siblings, Burnett A. Moses, Golda Moses and Edith Moses.  She married William Tartt.  The couple had three children.  James, Judith Ann and Raymond.  The couple lived in Houston.  Threir son Raymond was a pilot and was KIA in the Korea War.

Her husband, William died in 1969 and Grace died in 1981.  They were laid to rest in Forest Park Lawndale.
