Vivian Persis Weaver was born on May 10, 1908 to parents James Mathew Weaver and Annie Mae Short. She had two siblings, Gordon Pendleton Weaver and Eula Pearl Weaver.  She graduated from Timpson High School in 1926. Vivian married Richard Menefee. In 1940 the family was living in Timpson.  Vivain died on January 23, 2009 in Center, Texas at the age of 100.
