Edith Moses

was born on May 19, 1908 to parents Joe and Ida Moses in Timpson.  Edith had three siblings, Grace Moses, Burnett A. Moses, and Golda Moses.  She graduated from Timpson High School in 1926.  In 1927 she attended college in Belton, Texas. Edith married Dewey McClung, a cotton borker and long time Gulf Oil consignee in Timpson.  They did not have any children.  Edith passed away on April 2, 1996 and was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
