Reverend William Wilford Hawthron was born on May 19,1908 in Shelby County to parents Hayden and Carrie Hawthorne.  It is beleived he had at least two siblings, Elizabeth Hawthorn and Marie Hawthorn.  William graduated from Timpson High School in 1926. In 1930 he was single and living in Houston.  In 1932, his sone William Wilford was born in Trinity County, Texas.  By 1935 he was living in Houston and his son Robert was bornin 1940 in Harris County.  The year 1947 found the Reverend living in Galveston, Texas.  Reverend Hawthorn died on August 27, 1981 in Huntington,TX.  His wife Cassie died on November 3, 2002 and was laid to rest beside him.
