Robin Lee Hooper, Jr., was born on August 1, 1926 to parents Robin Lee Hooper and Emma Lois Trammell. He had two siblings, Tommy Mack Hooper and Mary Alice Hooper.  Robin graduated from Timpson High School in 1944. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy.  After his service in the Navy, he was enrolled at SFA in 1947 and 1948.  He lived in Groves, Jefferson County, Texas,  On October 22, 1953, Robin died of polio and was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas
