Marion Eugene Hairgrove was born on June 15, 1926 in Timpson, Texas to parents Dewey J. Hairgrove and Agnes M. Burns.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1943.  He enlisted in the Navy on Septemeber 27, 1944 and was released on July 12, 1946.  He was married to Veronica Hairgrove and they had seven childen.  Brian, Stanley, Alan, Sheryl, Brett, Janis Marie and Randy.  He worked around Beaumont and Webster. On May 25, 2003 Marion passed away in Timpson, Texas and was laid to rest in the Buena Vista Cemetery near Timpson.
