Funeral services for Hollis E. "Gene" Bogue, Jr., 83, of Timpson, TX, will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Humphreys officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Timpson. Mr. Bogue passed away December 13, 2009, in Nacogdoches, TX. Born September 16, 1926, in Timpson, Gene Bogue was the son of the late Hollis E. and Mary Estella (Crump) Bogue. He was a graduate of Timpson High School and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Gene was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of Timpson American Legion Post #90 and Timpson Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 15, until service time at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial may be made to the Ladies' Sunday School Class or Ladies' Auxiliary of Timpson Missionary Baptist Church, P. O. Box 805, Timpson, TX 75975.
