Robert Richard Morrison was born on September 14, 1883 to parents Eli B.and Kate Morrison.  He had at least six siblings,   He graduated from Timpson High School in 1904. R.R. married Henry Grady Mae Hairston on November 13, 1907. They had at least one child, Margueritte Morrison. R.R. served in the miltary reaching the rank of Colonel. He was also served in WWI and WWII being a career soldier.  He died on August 24, 1969 in Beeville, Texas.  He was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas beside his wife of over fifty years, Grady Mae.
