Edward Fulton Andrews was born on December 11, 1913 in Shelby County Texas to parents Edward Henry and Emma Ola Merritt Andrews.  We are not sure if he graduated from Timpson High School but he played football in high school as his names appears on the roster and newspapers. HIs nickname was Fulton "Lieutenant" Andrews. Based on these records we estimated he graduated in 1933.  He was private in the Army during WWII. He werved from November of1942 to February 1943 and was honorably discharged.  We do not know the reason for his short time in the service.  Possibly a wound or illness may have shorten his service time. Anrdrew passed away on June 19, 1958 at the age of 44. He was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
