Howard Wilson  McWilliams was born on February 3, 1916 to parents Tommy Lee and Lillie Mae Wilson McWilliams in Texas.  In 1930 he lived in Smith, Texas with hsi parents.  We believed he graduated from Timpson High School about about 1933.  He is listed on the football team for Timpson in prievious years.  Howard died on August 13, 2001 in Levelland, Texas at the age of 85.

Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland. He died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001. He was born Feb. 3, 1916, in Shelby County and married Eva Sexton on Jan. 12, 1940, in West Monroe, La. He moved to Levelland in 1976 from Victoria and was a retired plant superintendent of Venezuela Sun Oil Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Levelland. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Howard H. of Xenia, Ohio, and John Scott of Farmersville; a daughter, Linda Lou Phillips of Longmont, Colo.; a brother, Lamar of Timpson; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
