Joseph Kyle graduated from Timpson in 1927.   We do know he was born on April 11, 1908 and that he played football at Timpson in the fall of 1924.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. N. Kyle and husand bo Thelma Hughes Kyle.  He entered the Army in 1940 and trained at Camp Bowie and Camp Maxie, Texas.   He was discharged in 1944.  Kyle passed away on March 10, 1988 and is buried in Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery in Center, Texa.
