We beleive Gerald attended and graduted around 1943 from Timpson High School according to his military records at ShelbyCountyTexasHistory.Net.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Mills of Timpson and entered the Navy in 1945 and trained in San Diego He served in the South Pacific  He had at least one other brother that also served in the Navy, Charles W. Mills.  In

Gerald was born on March 31, 1927 and died on April 28, 1999.  He and his wife, Christine Dolores Mills are buried in the Wimberley Cemetery in Hays County, Texas.
