Funeral services for Glen William Goolsby, 50, of Joaquin were held Thursday, December 26, at 2 p.m., in the Mangum Chapel with Bro. Robler Elder and Bro. Michael Gillen officiatin .  Burial followed in the Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin.

Mr. Goolsby died Monday, Dec. 23, 1996 in Joaquin.

He was born Sept. 23, 1946.  He was the son of the late Louise Windham and Jeff Goolsby buried in the New Prospect Community.

Mr. Goolsby is survived by his wife,Mary Lou Martin Goolsby; four sons, Ben Goolsby of Joaquin, William Goolsby of Joaquin, Phillip Goolsby of Pineland,and Larry Goolsby of Joaquin; two daughters, Magaret Ann Taylor of Debers, and Mary Louise Hooper of Hemphill.
