We believe this information is correct for Robert Lee Yarbrough.  He was born to parents Edward Peason Yarbourough and Mamie Jewel Crawford on April 4, 1926 in Texas. He had at least three siblings,Edward Louin Yarbrough (1923-2003), William Bertram Yarbrough (1933-1994) and Thomas Paul Yarburough (1937-1992).  Based on his birrthdate, we believe Robert graduated from Timpson High School in 1944. 

He was married to Edith Smith. Not too much is known of Robert. He died on May 2, 2001, we believe in Mt. Enterprise, Texas.

Graveside services for Robert Lee Yarbrough, 75, of Mt. Enterprise, were held Friday, May 4, 2001 at Blair Cemetery with Rev. Gene Webb and Horace Francis officiating.  Mr. Yarbrough passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at the VA Hospital in Shreveport.  He was born April 10, 1926 in Timpson to Edward Pearson and Minnie Jewel (Crawford) Yarbrough.  Mr. Yarbrough worked as a welder, a truck driver adn as a builder of sawmills during his lifetime.  He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard and in the Merchant Marines. 

Mr.Yarbrough is survived by: his wife Edith Smith Yarbrough of Mt. Enterprise; daughter and son-in-law, Renae and Phillipe Elliott of Mt. Enterprise; brother Edward Lewin Yarbrough of Timpson; granddaughter Carrie Elliott of Houston and great grandson Cody Elliott of Houston.  Services under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson.
