We are not sure if these facts are correct but it is the best we can do at this time.  A O. Hooper played football for Timpson in 1922. We are not sure if he graduated but if so, then we believe he would have graduated aroung 1923.  We believe his parents were Obie Oran Hooper and Sarah "Sally" Lindsey Hooper.  He had rthree brothers and one sister according to Ancestry.com.  Marshall "Doc" Hooper, Margaret Hooper, Dub Anderson Hooper,and  Robert "Bernard" Hooper. Obie was born on October 20, 1903 in Timpson.

He worked as a policeman in Houston where he was detective.  Obie died on July 11, 1956 in Houston, TX when he was 52 years old.
