Frances Bogard Garrett from the Class of 1933 was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson.  She was born on May 5, 1916 and died on May 18, 1990 at North Place Nursing Center in Nacogdoches.  She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of FUMBC in Timpson.  She was married to Zinn Bedford Garrett who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Geoffrey Garrett of Seattle, WA and James Garrett of Madison, Wisconsin.  an duaghter Susan Falk of Glenview, Ill., a brother, Neuville Bogard of Timpson; three sisters Elizabeth Davis of Nacogdoches, Mamie Watson of Timpson, and Addie Belle May of Quincy, FL.
