Funeral services for Charles Otis (Mac) McIntyre, 66, of Timpson were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Timpson with Rev. E.E. Cherry officiating.  Music was provided by Kent McIntyre.  Burial was at Woodlawn in Timpson.

Mr. McIntyre died Monday, Jan 18, in Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital.

He ws born in Timpson, April 18, 1926 to James Otis and Ora Bogue McIntrye.  He was a navy veteran of World War Ii and worked for 40 yeares as an electrician for Todd's Shipyard.

Mr. McIntyre is survived by his wife Elizabeth McIntyreof Timpson; four sons, Lee McIntyre of Timpson, Roger Ward of Crockett, Ken Ward of Katy and Mark Ward of LaMarque; five daughters, Shelly Johnson adn Linda McKay of Starks, La., Susan Bickel of Dickinson; Sarah McIntyre of Jacksonville, NC.,and Carolyn Lemire of Indio, Calif., mother Ora Bogue McIntyre of Timspon; a brother, Dudley McIntrye of Timpson; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Kent McIntyre, G.L. McIntyre, Gene Bogue, Don Terrell, Bob Mason, Harold Bogue, James Lowell Bogur, Wayne Bogue and Larry Mariom.

Taylor Funeral Home directed the services.
