Lois Ross Dunlap, native of Timpson, TX and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. She enjoyed cooking and appreciated the beauty of nature as shown in her interest of flowers. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, and a true friend to her friends. Lois was co-owner with her husband of their glassblowing company, L.M. Dunlap & Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Susan Cambre and husband David; five grandchildren, Laura Guy and husband Brandon, Joseph Cambre, Chris Cambre, Kim Cargile, and Kelle Cambre; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close family friend and previous employee, Mickey Blush. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Morris Dunlap; son, Lee F. Dunlap; parents, Elmer and Mattie Bell Ross; two sisters, Lila Blackburn and Geraldine Wood; and one brother, Jesse Lee Ross.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 9:30 am until service time. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. A private burial will be held at a later date.
