Myra

was one of the daughters of JE Blankenship.She graduated from Timpson High School in 1909 and attended Baylor Belton Baptist College majoring in music.  She married Albert Burns and they had three children....Maydelle Burns, Evie Ruth Burns Taylor and Doris Burns.  She died in 1987atthe age of 95 and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery. During high school and college she played the organ for the First Baptist Church where she was baptized at the age of 12 and was a lifetime member of her church.  Albert Burns her hsuband of 58 years passed away in 1970.
