Julian Elliott Fruit was born on April 28, 1899 to parents Walter Elliott Fruit and Ellen Elizabeth Crossman or Grossman.  He was born in Chicago Heights, Cook County, Illinois.  We know his father was some type of doctor.  His mother was a popular schoolteacher in Edwarsville, Illinois.  It is unknown why Julian moved to Timpson but he did graduate from Timpson High School in Timpson High School in 1916, 

After graduation Julian attended Rice University.  He married married Mary Emily Carson in 1923 and they had at least two children according to the 1940 census, Elisabeth and Maud Nance Fruit.  Julian passed away on March 29, 1965 in Houston, Texas.
