Hazel C. Johnson was born on August 24, 1899 to paents Ansel Clyde Johnson and Margaret "Madge" Johnson in Timpson, Texas.  She had eight siblings, G.W. Johnson (1872-1872), Hiram Johson (1876-1946), Lewis Stoddard Johson (1881-1901), Cordelia M. Johson (1883-1968), Ether Snbeam Johnson (1885-1952), Francenia Johnson (1886-1939), Nannie G. Johnson (1888-1939) and Minnie T.M. Johnson (1890-1966), 

Hazel graduated from Timpson High School in 1916 but not anything is known of her after this date.
