Rebecca married Joe Langston.  They had two girls...Suzy and Sally who both graduated from Timpson.  Rebecca attended SFA and taught school at Timpson for a few years.  She passed away on November 23, 2000.  She is buried in Woodlawn along with a Joe who died in 1998.

Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Taylor Langston, 81, of Timpson, were held Saturday, November 25, 2000 at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Humphries and Bro. Douglas McDonald officiating.  Burial followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Langston passed away, Thursday November 23, 2000 at the Garrison Nursing Home.  She was born February 17, 1919 in Timpson to W. Albert Taylor and Vive Shipp Taylor.  Mrs. Langston graduated from Timpson High School in 1936. She attended college at Texas Christian University adn graduated in 1940.  She taught elementary school in Timpson from 1940-45.  She married Joe Langston on December 29, 1945.  They ran Taylor Hardware Store in Timpson for many years. Mrs Langson was a lfelong resident of Timpson.  She was also a member of First Christian Church in Timpson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Langston.

She is survived by daughter Sally J. Langston of Houston; daughter and son-in-law; Suzy and Jody Maness of Weatherford, OK; grandchildren Christopher Joseph Maness of Washington, D.C.  and Wiliam Gregory Maness of Weathford, OK.
