Vera East parents were Joseph B. and Berta East. We believe she was born on April 18, 1911.  We also believe she had three siblings: Aubrey East, Sylvia East and Zula East.  Vera graduated from Timpson High School in 1929.  Sbe attended colllege and then taught school around Houston and then in Henderson.  She never married.  Her boyfriend was killed in the war.  We beiieve she died on July 14,2006 in Hempstead, Texas.
