Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Mae (Molloy) Methvin, 76, of Timpson will be held today (Thursday), September 21, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Timpson.  Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery.  Officiating wil be Rev. Dwain Pollard, Pastor of Bellmar Baptist Church in Houston.

Mrs. Methvin died in Vencor Hospital in Houston, September 19, after a long illiness.  She was born January 11, 1919 in Timpson to Sam Houston and Loa Mae McFadden Molloy.  She was a homemaker and member for the First United Methodist Church of Timpson.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Claude J. Methvin, Timpson, daughters and sons-in-law, Claudette and Jim Braden, Lola and Wiliam Sadler, all of Houston; brothers, Lester Molloy of Houston; Gerald "Dub" Molloy of Orange, and Bobby Molloy of Timpson; grandchildren, Mandy and Danny Braden, Joseph adn Namoi Sadler.
