There is a Blanton Nolan Brooks buried in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in Bexar County, TX.  He was married to Bennie Irene Brooks.  It shows Howard was a Madter Sergeant in WW II and Korea. He was born in 1919 and died on April 7, 1978 if it is Blanton that was in the Class of 1938.
