We believe this is the correct William Bussey for the Class of 1931.

John W. Bussey was born on September 17, 1913 to parents Frank and Maud Bussey.  He had at least two siblings, Frank and Dan Bussey.  William graduated from Timpson High School in 1931.  It appears he joined the National Guard at an early age in 1929 also.  He joined the Army in 1942 and had quite a record reaching the rank of Colonel.  He was in three wars, WWII, Korea and Vietnam.  He was married to Laura Belle Roberts Bussey.  Willam passed away on September 15, 2002 and was laid to rest in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio
