Funera; services were held for Thomas Russell Whiteside Thursday, November 8, 1990 at First United Methodist Church, Center, TX.  Officiating the service was Rev. Edwin McDaniel.

Mr. Whiteside was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, TX. Mr. Whiteside was born August 9, 1912 in Shelby County, TX and died November 6, 1990 at Nacogdoches, TX.  Mr. Whiteside was a retired school adminstrator and veteran of WWII.

Mr. Whiteside was survived by his wife, Katherine Richards Whiteside of Center, his and daughter-in-law, Thomas Richard and Melody Whiteside of Lindale, TX.  Also his brother, Rudolph Whiteside of Longview, sister, Blanche Hudson of Timpson, TX and six grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Joe Formby, Joe Louis Jones, Bob Howard, Howell Howard, McNeill Moore and Bubby Metcalf.
