Gladys Ethel Hairston was born on August 22, 1899 in Timpson, Texas to parents George Earl Hairston, DDS and Ollie Mae McLendon Hairston.  She graduated in 1920 from Timpson High School.  We know in 1923 she had traveled from France to New York.  Not much more is known of Gladys.  She died on July 21, 1963 in Lubbock, Texas.
