Frances Chrystelle Herrington was born on February 11, 1924. Her parents were Guy T. Herrington and Rachel W. Herrington.  She had two siblings, Charles Herrington and William Tommy Herrington.  According to the 1940 Census her mother was remarried to H. D. Askins and had a new step-brother, Charles Askins. She graduated from Timpson High School in 1940.  In 1942 her pictures appears in the Yearbook as a secretay at the School for Deaf in Austin.  Frances married Curtis Harkey.  Her last residence was in Dobbin in Montgomery County, Texas.  She died on June 10, 2011.
