Ernesteen Ramsey Walker- born September 27, 1923.
Preceded in death by husband Otto and son Gerald David.
Survived by sister Alice Riddlehoover and husband Howard of Carthage, Texas. Son Dick Walker and wife Dympthea of Anahuac. Daughter Deanna Humphrey and husband Steve of Anahuac. Granddaughter Tanya DeHoyos and husband Victor of McKinney, Texas. Granddaughter Denise Russell and husband Tim of Anahuac. Grandson David Walker and wife Katie of Christoval, Texas. Greatgrandsons Pierre and Myqul Russell of Anahuac. Great-granddaughters Ajante and Zsanee Russell of Anahuac. Great-granddaughters Esperanza and Anjelita Fe DeHoyos of McKinnney. In addition she leaves five step-grandchildren, 2 step great-granddaughters, and one step great-great-grandson.
Ernesteen was a public school elementary teacher who retired from Anahuac ISD. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Anahuac where she spent many years teaching Sunday School.
A funeral service will be held 2PM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Anahuac, with visitation to be held from 12-2PM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be private. |
