Tracy Lynn Moon, 46, of Nacogdoches, passed away on Tuesday, December
12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Tracy was born on February 11, 1971 in Houston, the daughter of Kenny Lee
Blackwell and Sharon Lynn Wilson Blackwell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Laird
Funeral Home with Bro. Crispen Bradsher officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00pm until service time at
2:00pm at Laird Funeral Home.
Tracy grew up in Timpson and graduated in 1989 as a proud Timpson Bear.
She was involved in band and enjoyed playing sports.
Soon after graduation, Tracy began her career at Nacogdoches Medical Center
where she spent over 26 years as a medical records clerk.
Tracy loved her job and the friends she made over the years there.
They were a very supportive team, especially during her recent times battling
cancer.
Tracy was quite the entertainer and everyone around her knew how devoted she
was to her family and friends.
Her favorite times spent with friends were simply sitting around laughing and
telling stories about kids and grandkids.
Tracy always had a casserole in the oven because she loved to cook.
Often times, she would find a new recipe and invite "the girls" to come and
taste-test!
Her children always came first in her life.
From being the supportive mom at football games for Jeremy, to being the girls
biggest fan at their basketball games, cross-country track meets, and softball
games, she was always there.
