Funeral servicesfor Mrs. John Hill, 43, of Houston were held 9 am February 24, in Earthman Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Jones officiating.  Graveside services were held 2 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery at Timpson with the Reverend Lynn Parker officiating.

Mrs. Hill, a native of Timpson, daughter of Mrs. C.E. Savage and the late Corbin E. Savage.  She was a graduate of Timpson High School and a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors are her husband; her mother, one son, Randy Honeycutt, Air Force Band Accademy, Colorado Springs, Colardo; a daughter, Shawna Hill of Houston; a brother, Bertrand Savage of Little Rock, Arkansas, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson Dallas and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: L.E. Brumbrough, Charlie Chambers, P. Portugal, Jack Watts, Jerry Shivers and Vernon Halbeck.
