James Kelly Parker was born on February 28, 1929 to Thomas Frank Parker and Alice McIntyre in Shelby County.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1947.  He married Marian Hooper from the Class of 1948 but later they were divoiced.  Kelly had at least one child, James Kelly Parker, Jr. in 1961 who passed away in 1992.  Kelly Parker Sr. passed away on October 26, 1988 in Houston, Texas.
