Tommy Herrington was born on December 11, 1929 to parents Guy Herrington and Rachel Cooper.  He had two full siblings, Charles Herrington and Christelle Herrington.  In the 1940 Census his mother was married to H.D. Askins and in which he two step siblings, Horace and Charles Askins.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1946,  It appears he did attend SFA in 1947 but it is unknown if he graduated.  Tommy passed awy February 27, 1988.
