Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Dolores Hughes, 63, of Center, were held Aug. 10, in Mangum Chapel, with intement in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Officiating were Jimmie Jones & Ken Eells, pastor of First Baptist Church of Center.

Mrs. Hughes died on Aug. 8, in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

She was a native of Shelby County, born 16, 1927, the daughter of CI Clark & Della Ramsey Clark.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 348 & the First Baptist Church of Center.

Mrs. Hughes is survived by two sons, Ronny Hughes of Houston and Randy Lee Hughes of Center, grandchildren, Brad Hughes & Brent Hughes of Center, Carson Hughes of Houston, Danny Hughes of Center and Paige Hughes of Hosuton;  three sisters, Alice Johnson & Marie Humphies, both of Center & Edna Rhame of Shreveport; two brothers, Joe Clark of Livingston and Milton Clark of Hosuton.

Pallbearers were Maxie Eaves, Jim Forbes, Everett Harbison, Bobby Watson, Pete Haley & James Campbell.

Magnum Funeral Hoem directed the arrangements.
