Ferdinard Haden was born on October 7, 1927 in Timpson, Texas to parents George and Effie Stanfield Haden.  He had at least three sibling, Anita Ray Haden (1932-1987), Minnette Haden, Will Haden and possibly several half siblings.  Ferd graduated from Timpson Hgih School in 1945. On February 11, 1946 he enlisted, it appears in the Army Panama Canal Department.  According to his enlistment his skilled occupation was in manufacture of electrical machinery and accessories, n.e.c.   At the time of enlistment he was single with dependents according to his enlistment papers.  The dependents could have been his parents. 

At the time of his death Ferd was married to Geradine Haden.  According to his death certificate he had lived in Texas City for 30 years and worked as Supervisor at Union Carbide.  He passed away on March 17, 1978
