Services for Mr. Charles Ray Crawford, 64, of Timpson were held Wednesday, November 11, 1998 at 1 p.m. in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was Brother Jon Forrest, mininster of the Woodland Christian Church in Timpson.  Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mr. Crawford died Monday, November 9,1998 in Timpson, Texas.  He was born June 7, 1934 in Shelby County to Charlie and Mary(Reeves) Crawford.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife Sadie Rae Crawford of Timpson; daughter and son-in-law Shelia and Douglas Windham of Center, stepdaughters, Paula Mullins and husband Paul, Tersea Murdick and husband Wayne, and Susan Morrow, all of Timpson; sister Ouida Ramsey of Humble; 2 grandchildren Casey Crawford and Lonnie Windham; 7 step grandchildren, Rick Warren, Summer Ramsey, Chris Hudman, Amy Hudman, Matt Hudman, Samantha Morrow, Jonanthan Mullins; 2 step great grandchildren Hayden Ramsey and Kalynn Hudman.

Pallbearers were Jerry Nix, Milt Nix, Lee Griffin, Everett Ross, Randy Hogue, and Ronnie Hogue.
