Funeral service for Elizabeth Ann Hooper, 80, of McKinney, TX, (formerly of Timpson, TX) will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2014, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson, with Bro. Mario Osby and Orval Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson. Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 -8:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Taylor Funeral Home. Ms. Hooper passed away in Frisco, TX, on Friday, May 9, 2014.

Born October 12, 1933, in Shreveport, LA, Elizabeth Ann Hooper was the daughter of the late Ed and Edna (Sayer) Hooper. After graduation from Timpson High School in 1951, she worked at various businesses in town for over 40 years, where her smile and humor touched many lives. After suffering a debilitating illness in later life, she moved to the Frisco area to be closer to her youngest son. While there, her newfound talent for poetry and art brightened the lives of those around her. Liz touched many people in her life, and she will be loved and missed by all.

Survivors include sons, Kim Parkman and wife Frankie of Marshall, TX, and Brad Parkman and wife Michelle of McKinney, TX; grandchildren: Tracy Woods, Rachael Payne, Cody Parkman, Channing Elizabeth Parkman, and Chaz Anderson Parkman; and great grandchildren: Kate and Daniel Overstreet, Joseph and Zack Stallone, and Preston Parkman.
