Eva Eloise McGee Porterfield, 78, of Center, passed away February 13, 2012 in Nacogdoches. She was born June 26, 1933 in Shelby County to Milton “MB” McGee and Mary Lela Humphries McGee. Mrs. Porterfield was a member of First Baptist Church in Center. She enjoyed mission trips to assist in building churches for a number of years.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Center with Bro. Michael Hale, Bro. Carl Smith and Bro. Peyton Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson.

Pallbearers will be Fred Bradford, John Bradford, Greg Hooper, Ranny Griffin, Danny Griffin and Allen McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be Bennie Eddins, Randy Bohannon, Red Hairgrove, Eddie Barnes and Michael Neuwirth.

She is survived by: Husband, Robert Porterfield of Center
