F. M. Hughes

Services for F.M. Hughes, 59, Nacogdoches, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel in Nacogdoches with Rev. Bill Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Simpson Campground Cemertery in Woden, Texas.

Mr. Hughes died Thursday at his residnece. He was born June 27, 1933 in Arcadia.

He was a graduate of Timpson High School and moved to Nacogdoches in 1977 from Oklahoma City.  He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and was employed with Mobil of 20 years.  He was employed at Patton Auction Barn the past 15 years.  Mr. Hughes was an U.S. Army Veteran and member of North Street Chuch of Christ.

He was preceded in death by two spouses, Martha Jo Hill Hughes and Mary Jo Hughes.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Heidi Hughes , Bent and Debbie Hughes, and Barry and Jenny Hughes, all of Nacogdoches ; one sister, Joy Covington, Center and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers include F. R. Lewis, Bo Barbee, Jason, Covington, Mondk Peace, Johnny Covington, Center, and Kenneth Skillern.

Honorary pallbearers include Homer Hunt, Jr., Bruce Hughes, Harold Hughes, Bob Hughes, Lester Hughes, and Ed Ramsey.
