Mrs. Faires, 76, was born September 12, 1934, in Long Branch, TX, the only daughter of H. L. Jones and Marjorie Turner Jones. Jesus took her Home, May 6, 2011, at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. She was a resident of Bossier City, LA, retired from BAFB Base Exchange, a long time Avon representative, and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, retired TSgt Jim Faires, and her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Herbert Lee Jones and wife, Tae Yon Jones, of Bossier City, three sons and their wives: Jimmy and Mary Faires also of Bossier, Larry and Sheree Faires of Ringgold, Donny and Jodi Faires of Shreveport, two granddaughters, Jennifer Lapham and husband, RJay, and Andrea Faires, two grandsons, Aaron Faires and wife, Kristen, and Jimmy Faires, Jr., and two great grandsons, Austin Faires and Levi Lapham.
