Margaret Ann Scott. Funeral services for Margaret Ann Scott, age 70, of Timpson, Texas will be 2 PM, Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson. Officiating will be Bro. Elmer Mathews with interment in Blair Cemetery, Timpson. Mrs. Scott passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, in Timpson.

Born October 29, 1937 in Timpson, she was the daughter of Buford and Louise (Herndon) Frederick and married to Robert Joe Scott on May 20, 1953. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, Timpson, and loved being a homemaker as she cared for her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law Robert Wayne and Kathy Scott of Jennings, La., and James Alan "Bubba" Scott of Timpson, daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Alan Hairgrove of Timpson, Rita and Danny Strahan of Timpson and Shirley Bolton and friend wayne McCullough of Timpson, 7 grandchildren; Jennifer Hairgrove, Robert Hairgrove and fiancee' Angel Clark, Christina Williams and husband Wes, Vicki Scott, Amber David, Ashley David and Alex David; 6 great grandchildren; Summer Bolton, Austin and Kylie Williams, Ayden Fontenot, Stephanie and Conner Posie; brothers, JoeDan Frederick of Chandler, Arizona, Ronnie Frederick and wife Kathy of Nacogdoches, Texas; sister, Betty Sweeney and husband Tommy of Blacksburg, Va. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret Scott was preceded in death by husband, Robert Joe Scott, parents William B. "Buford" and Louise Frederick, brother Buford Ray "Sonny" Frederick, son-in-law Jimmy Neal Bolton and special sister Mary Scott.
