Evert E Crawford was born in Jacksonville, Texas on December 21st, 1941, to parents S E McWilliams Crawford and Evert Terry Crawford.  He passed away peacefully and surrounded by his children on February 26th, 2022, in Pearland, Texas.  He was 80 years of age when he passed. 

Evert grew up in Timpson, Texas with his parents and older sister Ada Mac Crawford.  Evert had a passion for airplanes and for flying.  He began flying his father’s planes at the young age of 13 and eventually taught flight lessons on his own.  During his teenage years, Evert also participated in football and was a member of the FFA and he graduated from Timpson High School in 1959.  After graduating from high school, Evert attended college for a year at Southern Methodist University and then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stephen F. Austin University. 

Evert was married and started a family after this time and he developed a love for cameras and photography.  He attended the University of Houston and achieved his Master’s in Business Administration and taught Marketing there.   Later, he became the director of the Institute for Regional Forecasting at the Bauer College of Business where he was a driving force behind the biannual economic symposiums.  Mr. Crawford fulfilled his dream of starting his own business and was a quantitative analyst with his own consulting company, Crawford Realty Advisors, Inc. 

Evert E Crawford is preceded in death by parents Evert Terry Crawford and S E McWilliams Crawford.  He is survived by his sister Ada Mac Crawford Gorton and his three children, sons Stephen Evert Crawford and Michael Ray Crawford, and daughter Mary Catherine Crawford Shipley, grandchildren Alex Frenzel, Madeleine Shipley, Brooke Shipley, Avery Crawford, and Summer Shipley. 

Evert’s family and friends will dearly miss his generous nature, his sense of humor, and his brilliant mind.  A memorial visitation in honor of his life will be held on Saturday March 19th, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Klein Funeral Homes 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379. 

Flowers in honor of Mr. Crawford should be sent to Klein Funeral Homes 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379 on the afternoon of Friday March 18th or on the morning of Saturday March 19th.
