Azell Caldwell, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Azell was born May 9, 1938, in Timpson to Dovie and Fred McDaniel. She had a passion for gardening. Azell enjoyed babysitting children, including her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mee Maw." She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Caldwell.
