I went to work for DPS in 1958, as a Highway Patrolman, promoted to Sgt. in 1967 and transferred into Narcotics enforcement in 1971. I retired as a Narcotic Lieutenant in 1993. I did private investigative work for the next several years. I do absolutely nothing now and start that about 10 am. each day.
