On September 22, 1961, in Wherzberg, Germany, the late Louis and Mary Hill birthed a handsome baby boy whom they lovingly named Gary Louis Hill. He was the fourth and last addition to the family. He attended Timpson Colored School and later integrated to Timpson ISD, where he graduated Class of 1979. He was raised by the community along with his parents he joined First Smyrna United and accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was good with his hands working in carpentry, plumbing and auto mechanics over his lifetime. In 2011, he met and later married his soulmate, Amber Hill. Gary loved and adored his wife and his family. Gary was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan win or lose. He enjoyed playing dominoes and reading a good book. He was the life of any family event or party. Gary embodied a loud thunderous voice, wore a big smile and held a contagious laugh. On Tuesday night, December 22, 2020, the Lord whispered to Gary “it’s time to come home” and he entered into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Gail Earl and Karen Patricia Hayes; and a brother, Gerald Hill. Gary leaves to love and remember him his devoted wife, Amber Hill; his son, Torrance Hill; a daughter, Kaylen Hill; his nieces, Tranika “Shea” Holland, Khrysteeon Hayes; a nephew, Xzavean Hayes; his cousin and best friend, Keith Riggins; aunt, Nina Clark; uncle, Gene Hill; and a host of other relatives and friends
